Hi guys! I'm Alfredo! My sisters and I were rescued from a life of living outside. Our young mom, knowing we needed to be safe, took us to a nice lady that gave us a roof over our head. Sadly we couldn't stay. Luckily we were found on social media and scooped up by our foster mom. When I was a kitten I was adopted out but sadly after a year I was returned. They said I was picking on another kitty in the home. Since being back at my foster home I dont do that. I like all cats and really like girl cats. I can be dominant with boy cats. I really love kittens. Sadly when I was returned it was discovered on the previous vet records that I have a heart murmur that was found about a year before coming back into rescue. My foster mom was on top of it and got me into the vet immediately. After some test I was diagnosed with HCM, Hypertrophic Cardiomyopathy. Feline hypertrophic cardiomyopathy (HCM) is a condition that causes the muscular walls of a cat's heart to thicken, decreasing the heart's efficiency and sometimes creating symptoms in other parts of the body. I just finished participating in a drug trial called the HALT study. Since completing the study the medication has become FDA approved. I do not require any medications at this time. I am in no danger of a pulmonary embolism or CHF (congestive heart failure). I am a large boy and could use to lose a few pounds. I love to play and wrestle with the girl kitties in the home but there is a boy kitty in the home that picks on me and so I would like to find a home where I can run around and not have to watch over my shoulder. I would be ok as an only kitty as long as I get a lot of attention. Our adoption fees: Cats range from $175 to $200. Exotic breeds or those that had special vetting needs may be more. Dogs range from $250 to $350. High demand puppies and small dogs may be more. This fee includes: felv/fiv/heartworm testing, worming, flea and ear mite treatments, age-appropriate vaccinations, spay/neuter, rabies vaccination, lab work, dental or other medical or surgical treatments as deemed necessary by our team of veterinarians and a microchip with free registration.
