About Ms. Pickles Bonded With
Ms. Pickles came into rescue as a mom, protecting her three kittens from the elements in early spring. Back then, she wanted little to do with humans, keeping a distance from anyone who tried to get close. That changed after a serious infection landed her in the hospital for a week. The experience softened her; with a lot of handling by veterinarians and her foster, Ms. Pickles slowly began to trust people. Since then, she's become a nurturing foster cat, providing comfort and guidance to other kittens who needed a mentor. While she starts out shy with new people, she warms up over time, turning into a gentle, affectionate companion who enjoys laying nearby and asking for pets. She’s especially fond of being brushed and has a playful streak that shines through once she feels secure. Ms. Pickles is closely bonded to her friend Olivia, another girl cat she’s cared for like her own. You’ll usually find them side by side, cuddling or grooming each other. Both would love a home together in the St. Louis METRO area where their bond can stay strong. Give them time, patience, and a little space, and you'll see just how much they have to offer.
