Skipper is a brave, very loving, pocket sized German Shepherd mix that identifies as a couch potato. At just over 30 pounds, this sweet pup is playful, smart, and ready for a cozy forever couch... I mean home. While Skipper wont make a very good running partner or hiking buddy, he is always ready for the next Netflix binge, long car ride and just lazy day. He will be right by your side giving kisses and snuggles whether you are working from home, just goth ome from a long day or decided to not work at all. Skipper is housebroken, gets along with every other dog he's met, is completely cat friendly and loves kids. He even visited a school during his recovery soaking up every pet and snuggle the kids had to offer. Skippers ideal home would be a gentle environment without too many stairs (he can do a few in and out of the house no problem). His new family would love him for his perfectly imperfect self. He has already lived the hardest part of his life, now its time for him to kick back and chill. Skippers back story: In June, Skipper was rescued from the side of the freeway, nothing but skin and bones with one partial leg and another severely broken leg, even then, he was nothing but kisses and snuggles. Thanks to our vets, supporters and donors Skipper has made a miraculous recovery and has learned the ways of being a tripod from his foster brother that is ironically missing the same leg!
