MEET BENNY! Benny is proof that the sweetest souls sometimes need a little extra help finding their happily ever after! This handsome boy is a 3-year-old Pit Bull weighing 44 pounds, and when I tell you he is seriously the sweetest boy ever, I mean it! Benny is neutered, up to date on vaccinations and preventatives, but unfortunately, he tested positive for heartworms. The good news? Heartworms are treatable, and Benny has already started the process! He is safe in foster care, getting the love he deserves, and dreaming of the day he can officially begin his next chapter with a forever family. Here's a little more about this amazing boy: He absolutely adores people and children! He loves car rides and is always happy to tag along for an adventure. Take him to an event, and he will happily soak up every bit of love and attention anyone is willing to give him! He loves every pup he meets and is always happy to make new furry friends. He's still learning about cats, so he'll need a little help figuring them out. He's clean in his crate and has no problem waiting patiently for his people to return. Benny has so much love to give, and we cannot wait for the day he finishes treatment, gets the all-clear from the vet, and can start looking for his forever home! For now, Benny is safe, loved, and finally getting the chance he deserves. We know his happy ending is out there, and we cannot wait to see him find it! His $400 adoption fee covers medical care up to adoption to include vaccines, neuter, microchip, heartworm treatments, foster care and transportation from Louisiana to NY when heartworm treatment is complete.
