Harlie is a spayed female German Shepard/American Staffordshire weighing about 70 pounds. She is up to date on vet care. Her people are moving and cannot take her with them. She is crate trained, house trained, leash trained, and has formal class training. She knows sit, lay down, spin, place. -Full of energy and personality • Extremely loving — will literally lick you raw if you let her • Greets you at the door with jumps and kisses to welcome you home • Loyal and protective of her people • Loves playing fetch (especially with her balls — she never gets tired!) • Enjoys chewing on bones • Smart and well-trained • Knows: sit, spin, lay down, roll over, speak, and place • Would do best with someone familiar with strong/working breeds Other Pets • Curious around other dogs and cats • Has shown some chasing behavior with cats, but does not show aggression • If corrected by a cat, she backs off and does not retaliate, literally let's her cat sister slap her around • Has had issues in the past with other dogs around food or toys she is chewing on (resource guarding), so slow introductions and supervision are important • Would likely do best as the only dog, or with an experienced owner who can manage feeding/toy time separately Other Notes • Sensitive about her paws and does not like them touched (important for grooming/vet visits) • Afraid of basement stairs in my home — unsure how she would do with carpeted stairs, but likely would need patience and encouragement She is a great dog and needs someone to love her, is that you?
