Rango is an adorable 8-month-old Dachshund puppy with a happy-go-lucky personality, endless puppy energy, and plenty of kisses to share! Rango and his brother, Ollie, (also up for adoption!) were surrendered to rescue when their family realized that adding two puppies to their household was simply too much. Now this handsome little guy is ready for a fresh start with a family of his very own! Rango is a sweet, social boy who may be a little timid when first meeting new people or dogs, but once he warms up, his playful, affectionate personality shines! He loves romping around with his canine foster siblings, ignores the resident cats, and previously lived with three young children under four years old. Like any young Dachshund, Rango is an energetic, fun-loving little character who loves to play! He's perfectly crate trained, sleeps soundly through the night, and lets his foster family know when he needs to go outside in the morning. He's still working on house training during the day and hasn't yet learned to walk on a leash, so his new family will need patience and a commitment to helping him learn. Rango would thrive in an active, loving home, preferably with someone familiar with the Dachshund breed and all its wonderful quirks! With consistent training, plenty of playtime, and lots of love, this precious boy is sure to become a wonderful companion. All known information about the animal is listed above.
