Meet Mellie -- 11⁄2 Years Old and Absolutely Adorable! With her beautiful fluffy tail, perky ears, and happy little smile, Mellie is as sweet as she is cute! This playful, affectionate girl is smart, loving, and always ready for some attention. Sadly, Mellie's previous owner could no longer care for her, and she arrived in rescue terribly underweight. Thankfully, she's now enjoying life in a loving foster home and looking forward to finding a family of her very own! Mellie loves everyone she meets, including seniors, and gets along wonderfully with dogs of all sizes. She enjoys playing with her furry friends and absolutely adores her toys, although stuffed toys may eventually lose their stuffing! She's a medium-energy girl who enjoys playtime just as much as being showered with love and affection. Even better, Mellie is housetrained, uses a doggy door, and has done well traveling. She isn't crated in her foster home and does great having free roam of the house with the other dogs. Mellie would be a wonderful addition to a home looking for a sweet, playful, affectionate companion. After such a difficult start, this precious girl deserves a lifetime of love, happiness, and a family who will treasure her forever. Could that be you?
