Meet Walter! This adorable 6-year-old, 10-pound little guy is a professional couch potato with a heart just waiting to feel at home! Walter’s idea of the perfect day is snuggling up on the couch, relaxing in his favorite spots, and enjoying the simple things in life. He was pretty nervous when he first arrived, but he’s slowly coming out of his shell and even starting to follow his foster around to see what’s going on before heading back to his cozy spot. We love seeing his confidence grow! Walter is fully housebroken, crate-trained, and has lovely manners around food, toys, and treats. He gets along well with other dogs and has done well with older children. He can be a little shy when meeting new people, but he warms up with time. Leashes make him nervous, and he may freeze or try to slip out of his collar, so a securely fenced yard would be ideal. Cats are an unknown. Walter is looking for a patient, loving home with someone home more often, where he can settle in at his own pace and enjoy all the couch cuddles his little heart desires.
