About Max
Meet Max, your future lap buddy and professional escape artist! At a compact 12.2 pounds and around 2 years old, he believes he's quite the catch. Max doesn’t agree with the concept of crates—he thinks they should be filled with snacks and toys instead. His real passion? Snuggling at night with his foster mom like a perfect gentleman. During the day, Max is a dedicated lap assistant for his foster mom while she works from home. He has stolen the hearts of her coworkers and dreams of his own corner office someday. Max’s ears deserve a special mention—his foster mom often has to resist the urge to put them in tiny ponytails because they’re just that adorable! While he is generally friendly and enjoys interacting with people, he has some nervousness when it comes to encounters with other dogs and would thrive best as the only pup in the home. He adores humans, particularly kids aged 12 and up who can be respectful of his space. Max is looking for a forever home where someone will be around often, as he has some separation anxiety. He is still mastering his potty manners, but he’s making progress by signaling when he needs to go outside. Ready to add some joy to your life? Max promises to bring his adorable ears and endless affection! Click apply to start the adoption process.
