Astoria Female Labrador Retriever / Great Pyrenees Mix Astoria has spent her entire life waiting for someone to choose her. Now, she's finally getting her chance! If you've ever driven to Panther Creek State Park, chances are you've passed the large enclosure that once housed more than 15 dogs. Astoria was born there and spent her life outdoors alongside her family. When her owner became incarcerated, family members reached out for help, opening the door to a whole new life for this sweet girl. Now in the care of Noah's Arc Animal Rescue, Astoria is getting the love, attention, and opportunities she has always deserved. Astoria is an incredibly sweet and affectionate girl with a gentle personality that's hard not to fall in love with. She loves people, welcomes attention, and is discovering just how wonderful life can be beyond the enclosure she once called home. Despite spending her life in such a limited environment, Astoria has so much love to give. She's ready for a family who will offer her patience, kindness, and a place to call her own. Astoria has spent enough time watching the world go by. Now it's her turn to be part of it! About Noah's Arc Animal Rescue Noah's Arc Animal Rescue is a nonprofit animal rescue serving East Tennessee since 1991. We are committed to rescuing homeless dogs and cats, providing the medical care they need, and helping them find loving, lifelong homes. Every Noah's Arc pet is adopted out spayed/neutered, microchipped, up-to-date on age-appropriate vaccinations, current on flea & tick prevention, dewormed, and examined by a veterinarian. Dogs are heartworm tested, and cats are FIV/FeLV tested when age appropriate. Interested in adopting? Complete an adoption application to begin the process of finding your newest family member.
