Charlie (approximately 68 pounds) was transferred to the NHSPCA from an overcrowded shelter in Mississippi. He's a large fella with a heart as big as his body. Charlie's love is powerful - he is an enthusiast of full body hugs, he cuddles like it is his job, and his tail never stops wagging. He often cannot contain his joy at human attention and will pop up for a hug, which may knock over some smaller humans. Charlie is happiest when he is around people, and while he loves to run & play in the yard, his happiness increases 10-fold if there is a person out there playing with him or doing other yard activities. Charlie is curious in a friendly manner about other dogs but can be socially awkward with them as we suspect he does not have much experience being around other canines. We think he'd love to have the right partner in crime - another dog who is tolerant of Charlie's lack of social awareness and enjoys him anyway. But always remember that Charlie's true love is people - he is very social, very outgoing, and extremely friendly. This loverboy cannot wait to finally have people of his very own, so come down & make Charlie's dreams come true today! If you'd like to meet Charlie and all his friends at the New Hampshire SPCA, please visit our Adoption Center during our open hours: 11:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m. every day except Wednesdays (closed).
