He absolutely loves his people and would happily spend hours snuggled up in your lap, soaking up all the attention and affection you have to give. But don't let his love of lounging fool you—Legolas also has a playful side and enjoys having fun! Legolas thrives on companionship and does not do well when left alone or in chaotic environments. For this reason, having a young, playful feline companion in his new home is a must. This is not an optional preference; Legolas needs another young cat to keep him company, provide social interaction, and give him a playmate. He genuinely enjoys the company of other cats, and we believe having a feline friend will be an important part of helping him feel secure and happy. Legolas was originally adopted as a kitten but was returned less than a year later when his former family found they were unable to manage his stress responses. Since coming into foster care, however, he has been an absolute model houseguest! He's been very well-behaved and has shown just how wonderful he can be in an environment that meets his needs. Sometimes it's simply about finding the right fit, and we think Legolas has so much potential to thrive with the right family. He would do best in a calmer home with older, respectful children who understand the importance of giving him a comfortable, predictable environment.
