Dog's Name: Denmark (DEN1026OTHFD) Estimated Breed: Chihuahua pproximate Age: 8 years Approximate Weight: 10 lbs Currently Living at: Foster Adoption Fee: $300 DOG'S DESCRIPTION: Meet Denmark! At just 10 pounds, this sweet senior Chihuahua is looking for a loving forever home where she can enjoy the comfort, security, and affection she deserves. Denmark is feeling a bit unsure about her situation right now, but with some patience and TLC, we expect this little lady will settle in nicely. She gets along great with other dogs, and she would love nothing more than to find a cozy spot beside her favorite person for some quality snuggle time. Her petite size makes her easy to handle, and her cuddly nature will make her a wonderful companion. Denmark may be a senior, but she still has plenty of love to give and is ready to enjoy her golden years surrounded by kindness and affection. Could you be the special person who gives Denmark the safe, loving forever home she has been waiting for? Apply today and open your heart to this precious girl — you just might discover that the best things in life really do come in small packages! Your new pet will require a refresher in house-training. K-9 Lifesavers strongly recommends all new adopters enroll their new pet into obedience training. This provides for an easier transition into a new home, ensures the dog remains well socialized, and helps form a bond between the dog and the new family. Adoption fees cover basic vetting, spay/neuter surgery (at partner vet if not fixed before adoption), rabies, distemper/parvo vaccinations, treatment for worms, heartworm testing, monthly heartworm prevention and monthly flea/tick prevention (while the animal is in our care), and transport costs from high-kill shelter. Please note that on average, K-9 Lifesavers spend significantly more on each dog than their adoption fee. Adoption fee for HW positive dog also covers heartworm treatment at our partner vets.
