Dog's Name: Baby Acorn (ACO1026ALAMD) Estimated Breed: Hound / Mountain Cur / Aussie mix Approximate Age: 8-9 weeks Approximate Weight: 10 lbs Currently Living at: Coming soon... Adoption Fee: $500 DOG'S DESCRIPTION: Meet Baby Acorn! Acorn is part of the adorable Fall Litter of five cuties — Toffee, Chai, Acorn, Pecan, and Nutmeg. These precious puppies found themselves in a crowded shelter in Alabama, an especially scary place for little ones just starting out in life. Thankfully, K-9 Lifesavers stepped in, and the whole litter is now safe and ready to find their forever homes! Like any happy puppy, this little one is sweet, playful, curious, and full of love. At the perfect age for training and socialization, there is so much potential to grow into a wonderful lifelong companion with a family ready to provide love, guidance, and plenty of adventures. If you've been thinking about adding a puppy to your family, Acorn would love the chance to steal your heart. Apply today and give this deserving boy the happily-ever-after he has been waiting for! Your new pet will require a refresher in house-training. K-9 Lifesavers strongly recommends all new adopters enroll their new pet into obedience training. This provides for an easier transition into a new home, ensures the dog remains well socialized, and helps form a bond between the dog and the new family. Adoption fees cover basic vetting, rabies (if puppy is old enough), distemper/parvo vaccinations, deworming, monthly heartworm prevention while in our care (if old enough), monthly flea/tick prevention while in our care, and transport costs. K-9 Lifesavers will also cover the cost of spay/neuter at our partner vet at 6 months of age or reimburse adopter for up to the amount of our partner vet cost should you choose to spay/neuter at your own vet.
