About Ivy
What are you waiting for? Apply today! Meet Ivy, a lovely-natured brown hound mix with a heart full of love! After being a devoted mom to her puppies, Ivy is now looking for a forever home where she can be pampered and cherished. Ivy is incredibly sweet and affectionate and will soak up all the attention you offer. She's known for her calm, gentle temperament and is not much of a barker. Ivy is well crate trained, friendly with the other dogs in her foster home, and especially enjoys playtime with her pals Violet, Carter, and Bubba. Ivy enjoys a calmer environment and might not be comfortable with busy city living, but she could be happy in a quieter suburban apartment, given her mellow nature. She thrives in peaceful settings and can feel nervous if people move too quickly around her. Despite a past that may not have been kind to her, Ivy is resilient, quick to trust, and blossoms with gentle affection. She also has a playful side, especially when splashing around in shallow water! Recently, Ivy completed heartworm treatment and has made a full recovery—she's now healthy, happy, and more than ready to join her forever family. As Ivy settles into a new home, a refresher in house-training is recommended, and enrolling in obedience training will help with a smooth transition and build that all-important bond. If you're seeking a gentle, loving companion who appreciates the quieter things in life, Ivy could be the perfect match. Fun fact: Born on November 25, Ivy is a Sagittarius—so she's always up for new adventures with people she trusts! Lets make it official, apply to adopt!
