About Atlas FKA Chemo

Meet Atlas — a big boy with an even bigger personality! Weighing around 58 to 60 pounds, this sweet dog is full of quirks and some seriously silly habits. Atlas is still figuring out how to play with toys. Toss him a toy, and he might walk over to give it a sniff, then bark at it as if it has personally offended him. Sometimes he even picks it up and moves it around. Watching him navigate his new world brings plenty of laughs. Life with Atlas is all about enjoying the great outdoors. He loves to stretch out, relax, and soak in the sights and sounds. Playtime can also be part of the mix, especially if he can chase another dog. He does well with canine companions but often barks at them when he gets bored, so proper introductions are key. Atlas is not recommended for a home with cats, as he tends to bark at them, which could create a stressful environment for feline friends. As a strong and spirited young dog, Atlas would benefit greatly from continued leash training and a family dedicated to helping him learn good manners. His foster is working with him to improve his indoor behavior, including house training confidence. Atlas is still on his journey of discovery, and he deserves a family that appreciates his goofy side while allowing him the space to grow into the best version of himself. Atlas is being fostered in Austin, TX, and paid transport can be arranged for $200-400. Ready to bring this joyful companion home? Click apply to start the adoption process.
