Happy Fall 'Yall! The year is winding down, but there are still so many kittens and older cats that need homes! Please consider adopting- especially some of our older residents! Maybe even two kittens or cats? Remember every cat you adopt actually saves TWO cats lives and help countless more cats & kittens! When you adopt one cat, it makes room to save another! Win! Win! The kitties thank you too! This is Maisey! Maisey is a domestic short haired brown tabby spayed female, up to date on her shots, around 1 year old and available for adoption to be an indoor ONLY cat from Griffith Animal Control/ Treasured Friends Rescue in NWI. Hi, I'm Maisey! I'm just hanging out at the shelter just waiting for my forever home! My bags are packed though, so I'm ready if you are! Oh! You probably want to know some more about me! Hmmmm, let's see...I'm very sweet kitty! I love pets and to play with my toys! ! I'm just out of my kitten phase but I still have some kitten in me. Let's see, oh I LOVE wet AND dry kitty food. I don't want to go outside, I prefer staying inside. And most importantly, I'd love to be your new best friend too!. I do like other kitties, so a home with another kitty would be great! I'm probably fine with older kids, but not sure about dogs. Would you like to meet me? I have my own "room" at the shelter, so come visit! If you've never had a kitty before, I would make a great starter kitty! I'm just ready for my forever home and a person or family to call my own! Please come see me today!! Please call 219-922-1766 and leave a message to meet Maisey today! She is just a sweet and beautiful younger cat that wants a home too! Also, please fill out an adoption application that can be found online at TreasuredFriendsRescue.org or follow the link from our profile at Petfinder (scroll all the way to the bottom for the link to the application!) Thank you! ***************************************** Griffith Animal Control, in partnership with Treasured Friends Animal Rescue believes in giving kitties that others wouldn't give a chance, a helping hand at getting a forever home. Our volunteers work with shy and/or unsocialized kitties everyday to gain their trust to show them they are safe and no one will hurt them. However, when the kitties go to a new home, some will require extra time to get used to new surroundings and different people. Please consider giving a kittie who might need a little time to get used to a new home, a chance. This is a serious commitment and it sets the kitties back in their level of trust if they are given up after a few weeks or months. We are always here to help with any questions Please, only apply if you are an experienced cat owner or are willing to provide patience and good forever home. Thank you!
