About Cloe

Meet Cloe! Cloe is a vibrant girl, approximately 3.5-4 months old and currently weighing around 20-25 lbs. Though we can't predict her exact size as she grows, she likely will reach over 50 lbs based on her current stature. Although her breed remains a mystery, we think she’s a Shepherd mix; breed identification with young rescues can often be an educated guess. After being found wandering, she was picked up by animal control. Sadly, no one came to claim her, and she has been waiting for a chance at a loving home since September. Despite this tough start, Cloe is a joyful puppy with a bright future ahead. She will need a committed family to help her adapt from shelter life into home living, focusing on potty training, basic commands, socialization, and a consistent routine. Cloe’s playful nature shines through her energy. She would thrive in a family that can keep her engaged physically and mentally, helping her evolve into a well-rounded adult. Cloe loves other dogs and would benefit from having a playmate to guide her, but she can also do well as an only dog if given enough attention. While Cloe hasn't been tested with cats, her young age could make her adaptable if introductions are handled properly. She has had limited exposure to children in the shelter, and due to her potential size and energy, older, respectful kids who can interact with her appropriately would be ideal. A home with a secure, fenced yard is ideal for her to explore and play, though apartments might be an option if her exercise and training needs are met consistently. Cloe needs an adopter who understands that puppy adoption involves a commitment to her development into an adult dog. With the right guidance and love, Cloe will make an incredible lifelong companion. Cloe is currently spayed, microchipped, and up to date on her vaccinations. Important note: Cloe is located in Texas, and transport to her new home occurs after the adoption is finalized. Potential adopters cannot meet her prior to adoption completion, as she will be transported after. Let’s find Cloe a loving home where she can thrive!
