About Franklin
Franklin is a vibrant 2-year-old Chiweenie mix weighing in at 10 pounds. This little guy is full of energy and truly enjoys life, especially when he's zipping around and playing chase. After facing a serious injury from being hit by a car, Franklin didn't let challenges hold him back. Despite needing a wheelchair to help him get around, heโs adjusting remarkably well and loves the freedom it brings. His neurologist confirmed that although Franklin won't fully regain nerve function in his back end, heโs learned to adapt. At home, he wears a diaper, which his foster family says is easy to manage. Franklin thrives on companionship and would do best with someone who works from home or can take him to the office; heโs perfectly content sitting under a desk while you work. Franklin gets along well with smaller dogs but feels anxious around larger ones. He also has a playful curiosity when it comes to cats, though catching them is a bit of a challenge for him. Heโs heartworm negative and up to date on all vaccinations. Franklin is a wonderful companion whoโs ready for his forever home. Apply to adopt Franklin at Stumptown Strays Dog Rescue today!
