Meet Poppy! Poppy is a medium-sized mixed breed (possibly McNab) with a soft, short black and white coat. She weighs a bit over 50lbs and the vet estimates she’s about five years old. Poppy thrives on human company—she’s a cuddler and happiest when she’s close, whether it’s curling up by your feet during work or napping on the sofa beside you. Fetch is her favorite game, and she’ll drop the ball in your lap to remind you that it won’t throw itself. Although she loves to play, Poppy isn’t high energy; she’s just as content relaxing around the house. Poppy can be shy at first, but she warms up quickly. She’s friendly with other dogs, though she sometimes gets a little possessive over toys. Her experiences with cats and young children haven’t been observed. She's crate trained but prefers the comfort of a bed or sofa. On walks, she shows excellent leash manners and gets adorably excited, spinning in circles and chasing her tail when she’s happy.
