About Frida

Frida is a 2-year-old, 13-pound Chiweenie who thrives on affection and cuddles. With her short coat shining in apricot and beige, she’s an expert nuzzler, finding her happiest moments nestled in your arms. Once embraced, she loves to hold your hand and is known for her generous kisses. Frida's journey has not been without hurdles; she survived an accident that left her as a tripod, but she adapts seamlessly and is as lively as ever. Though Frida can be somewhat reserved with newcomers, she quickly warms up, especially when snacks are involved. At home, she is x-pen trained and potty trained, gets along well with other dogs, loves to toss her toys around, and is always eager for adventures. She does need some leash training, as she pulls and sometimes barks at other animals, but her treat motivation helps her learn. While we haven’t seen her with cats, she may be fine with a dog-savvy feline. Frida is heartworm negative and current on her flea and heartworm preventatives, making her a healthy and happy companion. This little lovebug is ready to find her forever home.
