About Buck

Buck is a standout at Williams County Humane Society, coming from a larger group of animals as part of a humane case. Initially, he seems hesitant and puts on a show of bravado, acting like he doesn't want anyone near him. This behavior likely stems from kennel stress and a lack of early socialization. Despite this, Buck is incredibly sweet once you get to know him. He needs slow and patient introductions to new friends, but the reward is genuine affection and loyalty. Buck walks pretty well on a leash, although he occasionally hesitates when encountering new experiences. He's not yet potty trained, as he spent much of his life in an outdoor kennel, but being young makes him very trainable. He gets along well with cats, having made friends with the outdoor cats at his previous home. If you’re ready to give him the love and patience he needs, Buck will return the favor tenfold. His adoption fee is $245, and he is neutered and up to date on vaccinations. Ready to meet this wonderful boy?
