About Sheldon

Meet Sheldon! This handsome, approximately 1-year-old Australian Shepherd mix weighs around 45 pounds. He came to us as a stray, and while we don’t know much about his past, he’s incredibly friendly and eager to meet new friends. Upon arrival, Sheldon’s coat was quite the mess, covered in burrs and severely matted. After a much-needed shave, he's feeling better and will look even more handsome as his fur grows back. Sheldon is smart and food motivated, so he’ll thrive with consistent training. Though he’ll need some guidance with house training, he’s expected to do well with respectful children. While he enjoys human companionship, he hasn't shown much interest in making dog friends, and he hasn’t been tested with cats yet. This lovely boy has a bright future ahead and deserves a loving home that will help him adjust to indoor life. His loving nature and willingness to learn are wonderful traits that will surely shine through with patience and positive reinforcement.
