About Copper
Meet Copper! Copper is a 5-year-old, 50-pound mixed-breed boy with a striking tricolor coat that reflects his lively spirit. His early life wasn't the easiest; he was tied up outside and not given proper care. However, you'll be amazed at how joyful and affectionate he is now. Copper loves people and craves attention, always eager to be right by your side. Whether it’s helping with chores or eagerly jumping into your lap, Copper is all about companionship. He’s a dedicated neighborhood inspector, thoroughly sniffing everything on his walks. He’s also learning to fetch—still figuring out the return part, though! Copper is potty trained, crate trained, and knows commands like sit and off. He learns quickly and responds well to verbal corrections. He enjoys meeting new faces, though he might bark at strangers initially. Loud noises can surprise him, but he bounces back fast. He thrives in a home with another friendly dog and doesn’t get along with cats, as he has a playful chase instinct. A fenced yard is a must, ensuring he can safely explore without darting after squirrels. Most importantly, Copper deserves a loving home where he can feel safe, cherished, and truly wanted. If you’re searching for a loyal companion who’s ready to stick by your side, Copper is your guy! Copper will be neutered on September 8. He is up-to-date on vaccinations, microchipped, and on monthly heartworm and flea/tick prevention. His adoption fee is $350. Click apply to start the adoption process.
