About Waylon

Meet Waylon, a lively 10-week-old Dachshund mix, weighing in at a mere 6 pounds. With his playful spirit and charming personality, he’s got the classic markings of a Dachshund, alongside a slightly longer body and legs from his Chihuahua side. Waylon is adjusting well. He enjoys being in his crate and loves to be held close. Currently working on wee pad training, he also receives plenty of toys and treats from his adopters, making him a joy to be around. He thrives in social environments, so a smaller yard would suit him just fine, and he would likely enjoy time at doggy daycare. This puppy is ready for his forever home, especially with someone who can assist him in completing his puppy training. Waylon is good with children, ideally aged 8 or older, and loves being around other dogs. He has been neutered and is up to date on his vaccinations. He was found as a stray but is now loved and safe at the Cowboy Capital Pet Assistance League in Texas. Waylon can be adopted locally or transported to various states including Washington, Portland, Minnesota, Vermont, and along the East Coast. His adoption fee is $600.
