About Charlie
Charlie is a young mini Australian Shepherd bursting with energy and charm. Heβs smart and loves to play, especially with his foster siblings who are around his size. Although he warms up eventually, he took a little longer to get comfortable with his larger foster sister. One important note: Charlie is a resource guarder when it comes to food. If you come near his bowl while he's eating, he might react. He can be okay with your presence while he eats, but only if you keep quiet. Due to this behavior, a home without kids or with older teens is essential. When he's not in play mode, Charlie enjoys cuddling for a brief time before heβs ready to zoom around again. He enjoys being around people and is generally fine in his kennel when left alone. He also walks well on a leash. His foster family describes him as cuddly, fun, and a quick learner who is eager to improve. If you're ready for an energetic companion whoβs working on some quirks, Charlie might be the one for you.
