About Thurston

Thurston is a truly resilient kitty who has faced more than one cat should endure by the tender age of two. Once found dirty and flea-ridden, living outdoors during the harsh winter, he quickly revealed his friendly nature, suggesting he once knew the comfort of a home. After suffering from health issues stemming from his life on the streets—including FIV, dental infections, and painful swollenness in his paw pads—Thurston has made a remarkable recovery and now radiates health and beauty. His personality is as vibrant as his ginger and white coat. He thrives in the company of people and enjoys being warm, climbing around, and even poking his nose into the refrigerator. Thurston's antics will keep you entertained with his funny and moody ways. He enjoys cat beds, windows, catnip, chew toys, and can often be found happily playing. Importantly, he flourishes best with a companion and would do well in a home with another pet since he dislikes being alone. Despite his FIV status, which doesn’t affect other species or humans, he can live a long and healthy life with the right care. He’s looking for someone ready to embrace his quirky charm and provide him with unconditional love.
