When I came in off the streets as a stray, I was shy. Uncertain. The world had been a lot, and I needed a minute to decide if I could trust it again. Turns out I could. I just needed to know you were safe before I let you see it.Once I did? I'm yours. When I'm not soaking up human company, you'll find me exactly where any self-respecting cat belongs — elevated. A cat tree summit. A sun-warmed windowsill. Somewhere high enough to survey my kingdom with the quiet dignity it deserves. I lived among over a hundred cats at the shelter and managed just fine, but honestly, they were never really the point. The people were. The perches were. Those are my things. I've been waiting in an overcrowded rural shelter, a little overlooked, a little underestimated — and I have been so patient. But I deserve more than waiting. I deserve a calm home where the energy is gentle and the windowsills are wide. No small children, please — not because I'm difficult, but because I'm the kind of girl who blooms in quiet. Older kids who understand a cat's need for peace? We could absolutely work something out. Other cats are fine, or I can be your one and only. I genuinely don't mind either way. What I do mind — in the very best possible way — is finally having people and perches of my very own. I think it's time, don't you? -- Our adoption fee includes spay/neuter and microchipping for all animals. Our adoption fee is $300 per cat. All have had a vet exam, are up to date on vaccinations, have been given a dewormer and treated for fleas and ear mites if needed. All cats are tested for FeLV/FIV at six months of age.
