Mo, a lovely brindle pit mix, is an affectionate eight-year-old female. She enjoys a medium-sized frame and has short, smooth fur. Mo is house trained and spayed, which adds to her charm. Currently located in Petersburg, VA, she would love a new home where she can cuddle and be close to her family.

About Mo

Mo doesn't wait for an invitation. She finds a cozy spot on the floor and immediately climbs into your lap, tilting her head up to gaze at you with those big, dreamy eyes. At eight years old, this brindle pit mix weighs about 40 pounds and boasts a charming white chest and white toes. Recently surrendered by her previous owner, Mo has lived in a loving home where she shared a bedroom and was house trained and crate trained. Sheโ€™s spayed and knows her basic commands well. Her former family described her as sweet and cuddly, and she continues to be that way here. While she has a mellow energy, Mo delights in being close to those she loves. Sheโ€™s great with kids and friendly with other dogs. However, she does require a home without cats, chickens, or other small animals. Interested adopters should schedule a meet-and-greet, as we want to ensure a proper introduction. The shelter is open Monday through Friday from 12 PM to 4 PM, with potential for after-hours appointments based on volunteer availability.
