Merry Meadow is a lively 2-year-old Australian Shepherd, weighing about 34 pounds. Her striking black tri coloring showcases beautiful copper accents on her legs and face. Meadow is friendly and affectionate, thriving in the company of other well-mannered dogs. She adores running and jumping, embracing the outdoors with grace. In her time at the shelter, Meadow demonstrated excellent behavior during her cat test, and she's proven to be medium energy, settling nicely indoors. Fully house trained, she sleeps through the night without any accidents. This sweetheart is a bit of a Velcro dog, often cuddling and seeking petting, but she also respects your space when you're busy. While she hasn't been tested with kids, her love for people, both men and women, suggests she would do well with children aged 7 and up, particularly since she has a tendency to jump, which is something we're currently addressing. She enjoys playing with toys and chews hard, but she's respectful of her surroundings. While she needs some leash training, she's a quick learner, already improving her recall and responding well to corrections for counter surfing. Meadow currently lives in Louisville, KY.
