About Peacock
Meet Peacock, a charming young pup looking for a loving home to help him shine. He came to us from a community member and has been with us at the San Diego Humane Society since June 20, 2026. With a warm personality waiting to blossom, Peacock can be a bit shy at first, especially in new situations, but he responds well to patience and positive reinforcement. He loves his walks and would thrive in an environment where he can build confidence step by step. Peacock greets familiar faces with delightful wiggles and excited paws, ready to fill your home with joy. He will need to be the only dog, as he values his belongings and feels more at ease without other dogs around. Ideally, his new family should have children over the age of eight. Helping him feel secure involves giving him space, avoiding direct item exchanges, and using treats for gentle training. With ongoing practice, he can improve his outdoor manners. Peacock has been neutered, vaccinated, and microchipped, so he’s all set to find his forever home. Please remember to bring a leash and collar when you visit! Ready to help Peacock spread his wings?
