Neptune
AvailableNeptune, a 4-month-old male mixed-breed dog, presents a medium size and features a striking black and white coat. He's up to date on vaccinations and is currently in need of his neuter appointment, which will occur at the time of adoption. Though still learning household manners, Neptune holds great promise as a loyal companion with the right guidance and patience.
About Neptune
Neptune is one of the Planet Puppies, recently surrendered by their previous family due to the inability to care for them. These sweet pups are still adjusting to their new surroundings, and Neptune, like his siblings, is timid and unsure of the world. They are learning that not all humans are intimidating, so he will need a patient and understanding home to help him gain the confidence he deserves. Neptune is dog-friendly and may do well with a more confident canine companion to guide him. It's important for potential adopters to note that he has shown some resource guarding behaviors around food, which will require careful management and positive reinforcement training. Like any young puppy, he will also need consistent guidance for potty training and learning basic household manners. Neptune has already received two of his three DHPP vaccinations and will be microchipped, with a neutering appointment scheduled upon adoption. Though he might need extra reassurance initially, this little guy has enormous potential to grow into a loving companion with the right support. If you believe you can provide a nurturing environment for a shy puppy, Neptune might just be the perfect fit for your family. Ready to fall in love? Hit apply and let's get started.
