She's been the most hesitant of the Planet Puppies, still coming to terms with her new environment. Although she's made some progress, she needs a patient and understanding family willing to help her adjust at her own pace. It may take time for her to recognize that the world isn’t so daunting. A calm and quiet home with a consistent routine would work wonders for her confidence. Venus is dog-friendly and would likely thrive with a gentle, reliable canine companion to guide her. However, she displays some resource guarding around food, so it’s essential to establish separate feeding areas and use positive reinforcement in training. Training requires patience and gentleness, focusing on potty training, leash manners, and building trust without any pressure. Venus might not greet you with joy right away, but her loyalty and love will be immense once she feels secure. She has received 2 of her 3 DHPP vaccinations, is microchipped, and her spay is scheduled for adoption.
