Mars
AvailableMars is a male, medium-sized puppy who is four months old and comes in a beautiful blend of black and brown. He has received two out of three required vaccinations. While still in the process of learning household manners and potty training, Mars is on his way to becoming a well-mannered companion. He’s looking for a warm home where he can grow comfortable and confident before being neutered at adoption.
About Mars
Mars is one of the Planet Puppies, a sweet group that arrived as owner surrenders due to their previous family's inability to care for them. Since coming into the shelter, they've made progress but remain timid and unsure about their surroundings. These gentle pups are learning that humans can be kind, but they'll thrive in homes with patient families who can help build their confidence. A nurturing environment filled with positive reinforcement and socialization will encourage their growth. Mars enjoys being around other dogs and would likely benefit from a more confident canine friend to guide him. While loving and ready for affection, these young puppies might show some resource guarding tendencies during mealtime, so future families should carefully manage feeding arrangements. With consistent training and love, they will soon learn proper house manners and potty habits. Mars has received two of his three DHPP vaccinations, a microchip, and has started deworming. His neuter will occur upon adoption. If you're ready to give a shy puppy the love and support he needs, Mars could become your cherished companion. Click apply to start the adoption process.
