About Lola
Lola is a remarkable little cat who has conquered the odds after suffering a spinal injury as a kitten. Although she is paralyzed and incontinent, she radiates happiness and love. Her full evaluation revealed that her condition is permanent, but Lola is thriving. She adores snuggling, playing, and bringing joy into the lives of those around her. Caring for Lola involves a few routine tasks that require a little extra time and attention. She will need her bladder expressed 3-4 times a day and her bowels expressed 1-2 times daily. Thankfully, she is easygoing during these sessions, making it a smooth process to learn. Additionally, she needs to be diapered to protect her delicate areas from dragging. Adjustments to your home are minimal, just small changes like cord hiders and some pet stairs for easier access. Plus, there’s a foster-to-adopt period, giving potential adopters a chance to see how Lola integrates into their lives. If, for any reason, she doesn’t fit, you can return her. Given her loving nature and the deep bond you'll build, those extra minutes of care will be well worth it. Lola is truly a sweet girl searching for a loving home that embraces her just as she is.
