About Dusty

Dusty is a delightful 4-year-old chi-mix female weighing in at 9 pounds, radiating pure joy. Every day feels like a celebration for her. This little one has a sweet disposition, is curious, and loves to play. With her high energy, she thrives on physical activity and enjoys her toys. Dusty craves physical touch, eagerly seeking out companionship, making her a great bed sleeper. She adores leash walks, which help her with both enrichment and house training. However, she does prefer a home with at least one small dog around her size and activity level to keep her engaged. On the flip side, Dusty can be quite the lively one, especially during the mornings and bedtime, which might lead her to create a bit of mischief if she doesn’t have enough stimulation. Her high energy can translate into barking or chewing, so her new family will need to provide the physical and mental exercise she needs to channel that energy positively. House training is a work in progress; she uses pee pads and will go during long walks but needs supervision to understand when it’s time to go outside. Dusty cannot be around cats or children and needs a home that's active, with humans around most of the time. A fenced yard is crucial so she can play safely. Dusty should never be left outside without the choice to come inside, to respect her need for social interaction and safety. If you’re ready to welcome a playful spirit into your home, Dusty is waiting for you. What are you waiting for? Apply today!
