About Emmett

Meet Emmett, a charming little soul who brings warmth and affection wherever he goes! Weighing in at 17.5 pounds, this adorable Chihuahua mix is about 1.5 years old and filled with love. Don’t let his serious expression fool you; underneath those soulful caramel eyes is a gentle love bug who thrives on companionship. Whether it's cuddling in your lap or peacefully napping nearby, Emmett is always happiest when he’s close to his humans. With a mellow and easygoing demeanor, Emmett makes an ideal companion for anyone who appreciates the simple joys of a relaxed home life. He gets along well with other dogs and is currently living with a slightly larger foster sibling, but he's not one for rough play. Cats seem to be just fine with him, too; he mainly ignores them and is gentle in their presence. Emmett is quiet and reserved, choosing to only bark occasionally and rides beautifully in the car. He’s independent enough to settle down when left alone but still enjoys discovering the joys of toys, especially those pesky squeaky ones. While he’s mostly house-trained, he’s still working on certain habits, so a patient adopter will help him refine those skills. This sweet boy is neutered and has no notable medical issues, making him a smooth addition to any loving household. Emmett dreams of a forever home where he can continue to bask in love and comfort. He’s eager to warm your lap and fill your days with joy. If you believe you’re the perfect match for this affectionate little guy, don’t hesitate to apply and tell us about yourself!
