Betty is a small, female dog. At four years old, she is spayed and her vaccinations are up to date. Residing in Phoenix, AZ, she is looking for a caring home where she can thrive. With her gentle nature, Betty has previously lived well with children, dogs, and cats.

About Betty

Betty is a four-year-old, eight-pound sweetheart with a delicate silver-and-white appearance reminiscent of an Italian Greyhound. Although listed as a Chihuahua mix, her charm is undeniable. Her life took a tough turn when her previous owner could no longer care for her due to health issues, leading to her unfortunate placement on the euthanasia list after a period of fear at the county shelter. After arriving at Home Fur Good, Betty battled a severe upper respiratory infection but, thanks to dedicated care, she has made a remarkable recovery. Though she may initially seem timid, Betty is genuinely affectionate and receptive to handling. Her previous owner shared that she thrived around children, dogs, and cats. While she might be wary of larger dogs at first, she can learn to trust them with some time and patience. Now, after all she’s been through, Betty is ready for a fresh start. She needs a loving home where she can regain her confidence and feel cherished once more. Could you be the one to bring her the happiness she deserves? Betty’s adoption fee is sponsored, covering spaying, vaccinations, microchipping, and a complimentary wellness visit at Phoenix Mountain Animal Hospital. What are you waiting for? Apply today!
