At approximately 5 years old, Squid is seasoned enough to know what he wants (snuggles, short walks, more snuggles) but still sprightly enough to scamper after the sound of treat bags like a puppy on espresso. Now, don’t let the name fool you—Squid doesn’t ink under pressure. He’s got a calm, cuddly demeanor that makes him the ideal couch co-pilot, lap-warmer, or office sidekick. His leash manners are impeccable, and his joy for a good stroll is only matched by his enthusiasm for a warm blanket and some chin scratches. Yes, Squid has a little trouble seeing the world as clearly as most—but that hasn’t dimmed his confidence or slowed his pep. He gets around just fine, especially with a bit of patience and maybe a few strategic treat crumbs to lead the way. And thanks to his recent dental, his smile now sparkles with the brilliance of someone who just realized they never have to do taxes. Squid is neutered, vaccinated, microchipped, and has tested negative for heartworm and tick-borne diseases. All that’s left now is finding the perfect home to match his lovable, low-key energy.
