Meet Caliban! This three-year-old Mini American Shepherd is eager to find his forever home. Caliban adores cuddling with his humans and is crate-trained, house trained, and quickly adapted to the children he has met in his foster home. He also gets along well with other dogs, especially when given a gentle introduction. Caliban responds to commands like "come" and enjoys car rides. He's working on leash training, but his curious side shines through when exploring the outdoors and taking in all the scents before returning to his loved ones. His ideal home will be filled with affection, adventure, and someone ready to help him grow. At Green Dogs Unleashed, we emphasize the importance of positive reinforcement training and require adopters to commit to completing our six-week Canine 101 class in person at our Troy, VA headquarters. This is vital for a smooth transition into a new home. Please note that we are currently processing applications for Caliban, and priority will be given to those willing to engage in the recommended training.
