About Skye Arriving D
Meet Skye, a gentle soul with the perfect blend of playfulness and calm. She's enjoyed her time playing chase with other dogs and loves a cozy afternoon spent lounging with humans. Although a bit shy when first meeting new people, Skye quickly warms up and reveals her affectionate nature. Currently, she's working on her potty training and could use some assistance mastering leash walking and basic commands. Her ideal home would be one that embraces both energetic play and peaceful cuddles. Although she hasnβt interacted with kids or cats yet, she gets along well with other dogs and is already crate-trained. Skye has a unique journey ahead, as she is undergoing treatment for heartworm disease. For now, she needs a quiet space with limited activity during her recovery, but she is eager and ready to learn once she's fully healed. If you're searching for a loving companion who enjoys both playful moments and peaceful snuggles, Skye may just be the one for you! Skye will arrive in Minnesota on 11/6/2026, with pickup available from the Ruff Start Rescue office in Princeton, MN. Planning is key! Click apply to start the adoption process.
