About Molly

Meet Molly, a 70-pound, 5-year-old black Labrador Retriever currently residing with her foster family in Mentor, OH. This affectionate pup is known for her snuggling skills and sees herself as a 70-pound lap dog! Molly is an active girl who thrives on playtime; she loves to run, catch frisbees, and chase balls. Her ideal home would offer a playmate or a fenced yard, as she enjoys her outdoor adventures and getting exercise. Molly has a warm heart for people of all ages, including children. While she loves to play, her energy level is medium to high, and because she tends to mirror the energy of others, it's best if her canine companion is calm and confident. A home without cats is also ideal for her. Molly is trustworthy indoors and is fully house trained. While she's not prone to separation anxiety, she prefers not to be left alone for long stretches—ideally around 3 to 4 hours at a time. She is working on her leash manners and basic commands, eager to learn and please her future family. Molly's journey has had its challenges, but she’s bouncing back with the help of her loving foster family. Having recently recovered from surgery, she's ready for her forever home where she can continue to thrive.
