She came into rescue after a significant loss in her life, but despite the change, she radiates affection and warmth towards everyone she meets. Millie has a strong appetite and has already lost 10 pounds, with the goal of shedding another 20 to 25. She'll thrive in a home where her family is committed to her diet and exercise routines. Completely housebroken, Millie does well with older children, but is best suited for families with kids over 10 due to her size and strength. She's friendly with other dogs after proper introductions and can also be content as the only pet, provided she gets plenty of love and attention. Millie enjoys tennis balls, chew bones, and loves a good toy, although she definitely has a knack for destroying them quickly. Curiosity runs in her genes — she loves to explore everything within reach, though she wisely avoids dirty laundry. Above all, Millie cherishes being near her people, and if she feels her petting session has ended prematurely, expect a gentle grumble until you resume. Millie is looking for a peaceful home where she can be showered with affection and feel secure.
