About Panda
Panda is a 4 to 5-year-old male Lab/Pit Bull mix found wandering near Greenwich and Congress Roads in Medina, OH. He didn’t have a license when picked up, but he’s been adjusting quickly at the shelter. Panda is large, mostly black with white or cream accents, and has a short coat. Shy at first, he’s already learning to trust people, and he takes treats gently. Once he’s comfortable, Panda’s soft side comes out—he’s calm, knows sit, shake, and lay down, and walks nicely on a leash. He gets little bursts of energy when he shows off his zoomies but is otherwise laid back. Panda is very smart and seems eager to learn, but he's still decompressing from life as a stray and needs patience while acclimating. He can be selective with other dogs, so a meet and greet will be needed if you have dogs at home. Panda isn’t yet house trained, but he’s making steady progress every day. He’s looking for an adopter who will let him open up at his own pace. Ready to meet your new best friend? Apply now!
