About Guinness

Guinness is a 6-year-old male Pomeranian who tips the scales at around 13 lbs. This little brindle boy has faced some challenges in his past, marked by notable scarring on his shoulder. It's clear that he harbors a dislike for being picked up, likely from a previous traumatic experience, but he thrives on affection and enjoys sitting in your lap while showering you with kisses. He shows good listening skills and maintains a quiet demeanor, which is impressive for a Pomeranian. Guinness is highly treat-motivated, making him eager to learn. He adapts well to crate life and is a good travel companion in the car. While he walks nicely on a leash, a fenced yard is a must, particularly as he takes time to adjust to having a harness on. Although he has made strides in grooming, it took him a couple of visits and some medication, and he may take more time to fully accept it in the future. While he is mostly potty trained, additional training would benefit him. Importantly, Guinness needs a home without other dogs and no children, ideally with someone familiar with the Pomeranian breed. This loving boy deserves the right environment where he can feel safe and cherished. Your new best friend is just one click away.
