Meet Frankie! This adorable 8-week-old mixed breed puppy weighs about 5 to 7 pounds and is as precious as they come. Although we suspect he may have some Australian Shepherd in him, his mama was a 35-pound Shepherd mix, and his future size remains a mystery. We estimate he’ll grow to be around 30 to 40 pounds, but with rescue pups, anything can happen. Frankie arrived with four siblings after an unintentional litter, and he’s a sweet little boy with a gentle and observant personality. He takes his time to explore his surroundings before jumping into playtime. Once he’s ready, he’s all about fun, exploration, and soaking up the joy of being a puppy! Raised in a nurturing foster home, he’s getting plenty of socialization and is already showing his wonderful temperament. He’s great with dogs, cats, children, and new faces, making him an ideal family companion. Frankie is smart and eager to please, currently learning about house and crate training. His forever family will need to continue these important skills with a consistent routine and plenty of love. Frankie did experience some hair loss from fleas before coming into rescue, but he’s received treatment and is growing his coat back beautifully. He will be neutered, up-to-date on vaccinations, and have health certification prior to adoption. He’s set to be a beloved member of one lucky family, ready to fill their hearts with joy!
