About Fluffy

Meet Fluffy! Fluffy is a 3-year-old Australian Shepherd mix, weighing around 40 to 45 pounds. This boy is genuinely a gem! He’s sweet, loyal, and well-mannered—truly a good dog. It’s hard to believe he hasn’t found his forever family yet. Fluffy’s story took a turn for the better when he was rescued from a shelter’s euthanasia list just minutes before his time was up. In the stressful environment of the shelter, he showed some reactivity towards people. But once he entered a loving foster home, he transformed into a wonderful companion. Fluffy is affectionate, gentle, and loves to be around his humans. He gets along famously with other dogs, puppies included. He’s also been great with older, respectful children during adoption events. A home with older kids would be perfect for him. Fluffy loves walks and has excellent recall in safe settings. He can adapt to both an active lifestyle or a laid-back home, as long as he’s included and loved. His house manners are impeccable; Fluffy is fully house trained, crate trained, and trustworthy when left alone. While he may bark at unfamiliar people near his crate in busy places, he's friendly and comfy meeting them outside of it. At home, he crates beautifully without any fuss. Having already beaten the odds, Fluffy deserves a forever home that appreciates his loving nature. He’s affectionate, smart, social, and just waiting for the family that will cherish him. He’s neutered and up to date on vaccines, ready for a new start. Every animal deserves a happy ending. This one starts with you.
