About Baxter
Meet Baxter, a 5-month-old Great Pyrenees mix weighing around 30 pounds. This gentle puppy is working hard to leave his rocky beginnings behind and focus on more important things, like making friends, enjoying snacks, and ensuring his humans don’t wander off without him. Baxter is sweet and a bit timid but has a genuine love for people. While his brothers are all about adventure, he prefers the security of sticking close to his humans. He excels in the company of other dogs and would benefit from having a confident canine friend to guide him through life's little adventures, like figuring out that a garden hose isn’t a threat. A fenced yard would be perfect for him to safely explore and build his confidence at his own pace. Baxter would thrive in a home with children over 8, as loud noise and chaos are not his scene. Still a puppy, he requires all the usual training and patience that young dogs need. He’s looking for a loving, affectionate home where he can grow into his potential. If you’re ready for a snuggler who believes that togetherness is key, Baxter could be the one for you. Just know he’ll depend on you to check out any strange noises at home. If you’re interested in giving Baxter his forever home, take the first step and apply online!
