Ellie is a sweet and fluffy 3-month-old German Shepherd mix ready to find her forever home. Although she's currently about 18 pounds, she has the potential to grow into a wonderfully big girl. Ellie is a cuddle bug who loves affection, but she can be a bit shy at first. Approach her gently, and this charming girl will often come over for some love. Like any puppy, Ellie has a lot to learn. She’s just starting her house-training journey and is learning basic commands. It’s important for her next family to offer patience and positive reinforcement as she adjusts. She also needs to become comfortable in a crate, so a gentle approach will go a long way. Ellie enjoys playing with toys and splashing in water, showcasing her moderate energy level. She appreciates playtime but is also known to curl up for cozy cuddles once her energy settles. With new experiences, she may initially bark as she figures things out, but with consistent encouragement, her confidence will blossom. This lovely girl gets along with dogs of various sizes and would thrive with a friendly adult dog to guide her.
