Meet Ford, a little 7-pound sweetheart with a big heart! At over 9 years old, this lovable senior chihuahua is ready to find his forever home. He thrives on cuddles and attention, making him a perfect companion for someone who will dote on him and help him feel safe and cherished. Ford came to the Animal Placement Bureau from a challenging hoarding situation, requiring treatment for intestinal parasites and a skin infection. After a full dental, he's neutered and microchipped. Unfortunately, Ford has advanced heart disease and will need ongoing medication, but he’s doing well on walks and is much more comfortable now. He looks for a compassionate adopter who understands his medical needs and is committed to keeping him healthy and happy. Though he currently shares space with three other dogs, Ford prefers being the center of attention. He would be happiest as an only dog or with calm companions who give him the space he craves on their lap.
